I guess I would have to disagree with Nickel & Nickel on your "top picks" list. I made a reservation for a tasting and tour there this past harvest season. Beautiful scenery and friendly staff made it interesting. But, the wines definitely fell short, especially for their price. They might have been the limpest wines I have ever had. I can't even call them bad, because they really didn't have a taste, smell or body. I guess I will have to go back and try again, if I get up the courage.

Otherwise, I think you have some good recommendations. Next time, stop by Van der Heyden Vineyard and Winery. His late harvest cabernet sauvignon is an experience :)

Kotche at number one - interesting choice! An enjoyable and thought provoking list, with a fair few I haven't managed to hear.
